Is new-age technology making the Indian Postal Services more efficient?

Do you know guys........

The Indian Postal Service is one of the most well-networked postal systems in the world, divided into 22 postal circles and an unmatched reach extending to each and every address in the country. In order to keep sync with changing times, the postal department has adopted initiatives to upgrade and induct technologies for modernisation of its existing products/services. Siemens is developing an automated mail processing system at Delhi and Kolkata which will have sorting machine with integrated reading and Video Coding machine (IVR). Can technology stop the postal system from fading into oblivion?
